I really seriously and cordially wanted to share the incident which i happened to come across a few days back...
After reading this i assure that you will surely be double minded to fall in to a place.
2 things...humanity and caste discrimination...you will be struggling to stand with anyone of these two...after reading this
Once on a fine day...i was travelling to the place where i was undergoing my industrial training...i was going with my friend...we caught the bus and we found no seat to sit and we both were standing...i was standing right near to the seat where a woman was sitting with her not more than 1 year old daughter...she had placed the kid in the window seat and she was next to her...she could've carried her daughter on her lap and given me the seat...but she didn't...(p.s. she belongs to one of the so called backward castes)
I noticed her... surely she was feeling uncomfortable and her face was fully tired...i could hear some ladies saying "she asked me...but how can i give...if i touch her...i cannot go the temple tonight"...
Still I really couldn't understand what they were talking about...
Time passed and she noticed my backpack and she pointed my water bottle and asked for water...i gave it and she drank almost all the water i had...there were many people who carried water bottles but no one gave her water...so pitty was that the kid was also seemed so thirsty and she shared my water too...
Then the lady gave her daughter's seat to me...
Point num 1 : Humanity died due to caste system which led people to ignore fello passenger's deadly thirst for water...they didn't even think of the kid...
Point num 2 : she gave me the seat only after i gave her water...hmmm...she had no humanity too...caste system victims' humanity have also been killed by the society....
